Everyone is already accustomed to the fact that Chinese cars are usually copied to one degree or another from models of other manufacturers. It looks like Chery Fora A21 is an exception to the rule? The sleek sedan with a chrome grille is sympathetic: the body panels are well-stamped, neatly fitted and painted.
The calm lines of the two-tone light interior, quite appropriate inserts "under the metal", decent quality of materials put the Chery Fora A21 car higher than the compatriots known in Russia. You can only find fault with the excessive modesty of the dashboard and the design of the radio (its remote control on the steering wheel is unsuccessful - small buttons are collected in a heap).

Cherie Fora's car is Chinese and therefore it is not surprising that a large range of adjustments in the driver's seat is shifted into the “small” zone. The maximum height for a relatively comfortable fit is 185-190 cm. Against this background, the pedal assembly is perplexing: a spacious niche with widely spaced and highly suspended pedals is convenient for owners of shoes from size 43.
The tight gear lever with a comfortable grip can be compared to the bolt of a Kalashnikov assault rifle. The switch is clear, with a slight clatter, the selectivity is excellent, but the moves are so great that you don't want to switch again. The engine comes to the rescue - 2 liters! Flexibility and traction are especially good in the very running range of 1500–3000 rpm.
The visibility of the Chery handicap is good: the stands do not create large blind spots. And the movement in reverse is facilitated by a fairly accurate standard parking sensors. Outside mirrors, although small, do their job perfectly.
Chery Fora A21 easily and cheerfully rolls at 90-110 km / h - no body swing on longitudinal waves, rolls when cornering are small and not fatiguing. At a lower speed, the suspension may seem stiff - it repeats the defects of the asphalt, transferring them not only to the body, but also to the steering wheel.
The operation of the air conditioner is, to put it mildly, "not very" - it certainly cannot automatically maintain the set temperature level ... and the fan makes a lot of noise.
The second source of noise is the engine, which is quiet only up to 3000 rpm, but along with the roar, a noticeable pickup appears.
Chery Fora's destination is long-distance highway travel at a reasonable speed. A moderately sharp steering wheel, a motor with a good power reserve, informative and tenacious brakes, intelligent work of ABS cannot but please. At the same time, noise and poor heating spoil the experience. But remember that today few people can offer a 2-liter engine, four airbags, ABS, EBD and leather seats for less than 15 thousand dollars - that is how much Chery Fora A21 costs.
